Post a message of thanksDear Margaret and all the staff at Torkington House - we’re thinking of you at this terribly difficult time and hope that every staff member and every resident is staying safe. You looked after our mum and dad (Peggy and Stewart Murray) so well. Although it could be challenging at times, we enjoyed visiting the home to see them and all the super staff who were looking after them. It was an intense five years and will always be a vivid memory for us. The parties were a highlight, both family ones and the ones organised by the home, with all the lovely food, especially the cakes, that came out of the kitchen. We will miss the garden party this year! Thank you for all you did and are doing now, even more heroically than in normal times. With lots of love, Jen and Lynne Murray. PS it was lovely to see the picture of Margaret in her gorgeous dress!

We've partnered with the care workers' charity to help promote the challenges carers are facing during the pandemic and to give those who are able a way to give directly to carers by donating to their charity.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic thousands of carers across the UK choose selflessly to continue to go to work everyday and care for our loved ones because if they don't who else will. We think they deserve a huge thank you from all of us.
