Dear all, I wanted to pass on comments made to me during a conversation I had with a clients son yesterday. We were talking about multi-disciplinary working as he is involved in meetings with a care home, social services and therapy staff. He has attended several meetings to discuss how to move forward with his mother’s care and support.
He told me yesterday that throughout the meetings the discussion of mental health, specifically dementia and how best to manage people with the illness was one of the main focusses. The relative stated that he felt, after having all these discussions, that Home Instead CAREGivers appear to far more knowledgeable about the illness and how to treat people who have it. He also stated that our CAREGivers make some of the other professionals involved in his mother’s care look like amateurs when it comes to this subject.
Great feedback I think and it shows what great knowledge you have and how well you are able to work with this particular group of clients. It also gives great credit to the training that is given at Home Instead Rotherham.

We've partnered with the care workers' charity to help promote the challenges carers are facing during the pandemic and to give those who are able a way to give directly to carers by donating to their charity.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic thousands of carers across the UK choose selflessly to continue to go to work everyday and care for our loved ones because if they don't who else will. We think they deserve a huge thank you from all of us.
Please please do. If you’re a UK care provider and you’d like to show the messages of thanks you receive on your website and in turn help us promote our message you can easily add the Message of Thanks widget to your website.
