Here at Acacia Lodge, the staff and residents are delighted to present that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has assessed and rated our residential care home as ‘Outstanding’. This is something that only 3.7% of care homes within the UK manage to ever achieve. This directly reflects all the hard work that every single member of our team has put in to ensure that the residents are looked after and enjoy quality care and healthy living in a first-class environment.

Residents settle in quickly with the round the clock care that is provided by our team of dedicated Care Assistants, overseen by our experienced Management Team a well as with the support from families, who are very much an essential part of life at our home. Friends and relatives are encouraged to visit their loved ones thanks to our open-door policy so that everyone involved can rest assured that their loved ones are safe and sound in loving hands.

We work closely with relatives in respect of residents who are living with dementia to ensure that everyone is delivered a personalised package of care. Our wonderful Memory Care Suite uses a resident's life story as the foundation for our care and we are proud to have a specialist Music Therapy programme that is hugely popular with residents and family members.

Our bedrooms are spacious with plenty of room for personal additions such as mementoes, photos and keepsakes which we always encourage each resident to bring along with them. Each room has walk-in showers and flat-screen TV as a standard and our housekeeping staff keep everything in tip-top condition. The Buttercup Café and enclosed rear garden are favourite spots for a bit of togetherness, though there are many other spaces as well that residents can use to socialise and be involved with one another or as a quiet relaxing space.

Acacia Lodge Care Home provides residential, respite, specialist dementia and end-of-life care for older adults. Weekly fees may vary dependent on the type of room and level of care needed.
