Allonsfield House & Ashfield

Allonsfield House is a country farmhouse dating from the 1600s. Many of the original architectural features have been retained and there is a koi fish pond, a beautiful garden and a warm, homely atmosphere. The home nestles in the small village of Campsea Ashe, which is near the town of Woodbridge, close to the River Deben and Framlingham with its impressive castle.

Set amongst the fields, streams and meadows of a delightful part of rural Suffolk, this beautiful old farmhouse consists of two parts. One is within the beautiful farmhouse that dates back to the 1600s, the second is located within the grounds; a purpose-built building for those requiring dementia care.

We have a wide variety of comfortable rooms including conservatories, lounges, dining rooms, patio areas and pleasant, interesting gardens to enjoy. There are also themed corridors and sensory areas that are designed to stimulate thought, conversation and action.

Here at Allonsfield and Ashfield, we aim to create as homely an atmosphere as possible. We achieve this in many ways, but partly by ensuring that there are comfortable places to go for some quiet time, to listen to music or read a book. All the time you will feel supported, cared for and loved by friends and family.

Allonsfield House & Ashfield offers residential, respite and specialist dementia care for older adults with care requirements. Weekly fees start from £875 but may vary dependent on the level of care or type of room required. We can support residents who are eligible for local authority funding.
