Alt Park Nursing Home in Liverpool, specialises in providing respite, residential, nursing and dementia care for residents with a range of healthcare needs including challenging behaviour. Our dedicated care team liaises closely with healthcare professionals and is on duty twenty-four hours a day to deliver the highest quality of care within a caring and person-centred environment.

Alt Park Nursing Home is situated in Gillmoss, Liverpool within easy access to local shops, transport services and a choice of three local parks surrounding the home. The home has many bright, spacious communal areas for residents to relax or socialise with friends and relatives including a south-facing conservatory that overlooks the main garden area so all residents can enjoy the views irrespective of the weather.

All residents have private personalisable rooms with their own television and phone points. The rooms are carefully decorated and requests for personal items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior agreement with the manager.

Alt Park Nursing Home specialises in fresh, seasonal, tasty food offering plenty of choices, including where to have meals. We are able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, along with specialist diets. Our Home Chefs source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers, prepare all meals on the premises and regularly update the menus to include feedback from the residents.

Our Activities Coordinator organises a range of events, outings and entertainment supporting the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. The social programme includes both morning and afternoon groups and one to one activities from crafts to gardening and residents are given the choice to participate as they wish.

The weekly cost of care at Alt Park Nursing Home is subject to an initial care assessment. We may accept residents who are funded by the Local Authority but this will be under our Manager's discretion.
