For our residents with dementia, it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and help them to share their life stories with staff and fellow residents.

Our team of the highly qualified and attentive staff really focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. And our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and organised activities.

All the residents at Ashminster House Care Home have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

Ashminster House's weekly fee will depend upon the complexity of the individual's care requirements. We may be able to accept residents who are funded by their local authority but this will need to be discussed with our Home Manager. As well as long-term care, we can also support people who are looking for short-term care, dementia care and who require end of life care.
