Barrington Lodge Care Home

Barrington Lodge is conveniently located just half a mile from the town centre, close to shops and public transport and within easy reach of the A1(M).

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing and eating, along with general nursing care for those with more complex medical conditions. We also offer specialist residential or nursing care for those living with dementia, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay.

Residents are at the heart of life at Barrington Lodge and we’re very proud of our home’s lively social atmosphere. All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our activities coordinators run a busy programme with lots of variety including local entertainers, themed days, charity fundraising, pet therapy, zoolab visits and occasional pamper sessions.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Barrington Lodge Care Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well.
