Belmont House Nursing Home is located in the peaceful town of Stocksbridge, in the valley of the Little Don River and just east of the beautiful Peak District National Park. An established part of the local community in Stocksbridge, Belmont House has provided quality family-led care and assistance for many years.

Considered one of the leading care homes near Barnsley, Belmont House Nursing Home is well-equipped with facilities to accommodate up to 42 residents comfortably, providing a consistently high quality of care for those with nursing, dementia and residential requirements. On the outskirts of Sheffield, the home is excellently placed for local travel links including major bus routes and motorway access. It is also just a short walk away from useful amenities such as Stocksbridge’s quaint town centre, Fox Valley Retail Park, and various GP surgeries.

Belmont House is set up to provide residents with all their favoured home comforts, including access to private gardens, the option to bring their own furniture, television and phone points provided in private rooms and pets available by prior request. We are fully wheelchair accessible throughout the home with a wheelchair-friendly lift provided, and can also arrange for a physiotherapist to visit if required.

Our experienced staff know that encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle needs to be supported by a quality and nutritious menu as this can make all the difference to our residents' health and wellbeing. For this reason, we employ Elior, an award-winning external caterer, in most of our long-running care homes. Elior has worked in partnership with Country Court Care for many years to provide excellent quality, wholesome food.
