Brendoncare Froxfield

Froxfield, between Hungerford and Marlborough, is a nursing home which caters for 44 residents and includes a specialist 16-bed dementia care household. Froxfield has been specifically designed to enable older people to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. Located in the village of Froxfield, it has all the convenience of a purpose-built home while the attractive gardens, surrounding Wiltshire countryside and neighbouring 17th-century almshouses lend it charm.

Froxfield has close links with the local community and there is an active friends network. There are many regular visitors, and frequent events and outings are organised. Residents are encouraged to continue with previous leisure interests.

The home's philosophy is that residents should be able to make decisions for themselves and choose how to spend their time. There are plenty of opportunities to be sociable but people's privacy is always respected.

Our qualified, experienced staff are on hand at all times to provide nursing care, which is based on the expressed wishes of the individual. We work with other healthcare professionals to create a palliative approach which supports the person and their family.
