Castor Lodge Care Home in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire is a luxury care home offering respite, residential, and specialist dementia care for elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Round the clock care is provided by our highly-trained team of professional Care Assistants led by our experienced Management Team.

Castor Lodge Care Home is located in the picturesque village of Castor near Peterborough with easy access to local shops and amenities. Our outstanding care accommodation facilities include a bistro café, dining rooms, pub, cinema, and salon. The home has many comfortable areas for residents to relax with family and friends including a choice of lounges, landscaped gardens and rooftop Observatory Bar with uninterrupted views over the open countryside.

All residents at Castor Lodge Care Home have private, en suite rooms of generous proportions and a choice of larger suites with stunning views of the surrounding Nene Valley. We have shared rooms to support couples. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms to make them their own space. We will do our best to accommodate any requests for personal items of furniture subject to passing health and safety regulations.

Our Chefs prepare all meals for residents on-site to tempt even the smallest of appetites. We specialise in freshly cooked, delicious food using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients with plenty of choices and regularly use vegetables and herbs grown in our garden. The weekly menus are updated to incorporate residents’ preferences and feedback. Residents also have access to a kitchenette.

We offer a range of events, outings and entertainment supporting the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. The social programme includes morning and afternoon groups and one to one activities and residents are encouraged to participate as they wish.
