Corner Lodge is located in the Jaywick area of Clacton on Sea within a two-minute walk to the sea and with nearby excellent transport services and amenities. The home has several comfortable areas for residents to relax including a choice of lounges, a conservatory and secure sensory gardens with a gazebo so all residents can enjoy the changing seasons. There is CCTV in all communal areas for the safety & assurance of staff & residents alike to give peace of mind.

All residents have their own delightful rooms, most with lovely sea or countryside views. We can support couples and residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms with cherished possessions. Requests for small items of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety regulations.

Our home specialises in fresh, seasonal, tasty food offering plenty of choices and catering for all dietary requirements. Our Home Chefs prepare all meals on the premises and regularly update the menus to include feedback and suggestions from the residents. The tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen and families are welcome to join their loved ones for meals.

We have a dedicated activities coordinator who arranges a varied programme of social events, trips and outings to support and encourage personal interests such as gardening, keeping fit, and quizzes. We have a special reminiscing and sensory room with a beautiful vintage train carriage where residents can enjoy afternoon tea and relive happy memories. Our events often include outside entertainment, theme days and local outings within the community. We welcome family and community participation in the events that we organise.
