Cornerways Residential Home

Cornerways Residential Care Home is based in the picturesque seaside resort of Hythe and has successfully been operating for over 20 years. It is a 20 bedded Residential Home looking after the elderly and those living with Dementia and has built up a very strong reputation in the local area for looking after its Residents to the highest standards of Care. Cornerways was bought by Merryhillcare Limited in January 2019 and since then extensive refurbishments have been being done. The current Owners believe in strong Family values and expect nothing less than the best for our Residents.

All of our Residents' meals are freshly prepared, daily, and we have a local Greengrocer and Butcher supplying fresh vegetables and meat of the highest quality. Unfortunately the pandemic has put a stop to our unrestricted Visitors and visits outside the Home because of the Infection Control procedures we adhere to. Families of our Residents will attest to the fact that they are living as close to the homelife they wanted as they can possibly be.

Our Registered Manager is Charlotte Mckenzie who shares the Owners vision of great Care, love and dedication for our elders. Charlotte has many years experience as a Care Home Manager and has managed both large and small Nursing and Residential Care Homes ensuring high standards are met throughout each Home. Her door is always open and her mobile number is contactable all hours of the day or night. Charlotte describes her Team as totally awesome. They work in unison and bring out the very best in each other and our Residents. The whole Team consider themselves one big Family and include both the Residents and their loved ones as extended Members of our Cornerways Family.
