You’ll find our home in the pleasant leafy residential area of Craigie with lovely views of the city and surrounding countryside. Local shops, the museum and other amenities including public transport are all close by.

Our team provides general nursing care for people with complex medical conditions along with specialist nursing or residential care for those living with dementia. We also offer respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Residents are at the heart of life at Craigieknowes and we’re very proud of our home’s welcoming and lively social atmosphere.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our activities coordinators run a busy programme with lots of variety each day including exercise, arts & crafts, quizzes, games, visiting entertainers, outings and specialised one-to-one activities for dementia care.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Craigieknowes. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
