Croft House Care Home

Croft House Care Home has been purpose-built to help frail older people, offering convalescence and palliative care as well as general residential and nursing care. The home is able to offer short and long term stays.

Croft House is an elegant and spacious home situated within a leafy suburb close to Stansted Airport, with landscaped gardens that are ideal for wheelchair access and good access to Braintree. The home is also walking distance of the main high street of Great Dunmow, which is ideal for family visiting and residents who want to get out and about.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Croft House is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Croft House. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
