Emmanuel House in Hessle, Yorkshire offers respite, residential, convalescent, dementia, palliative, and day care to elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Our dedicated team of carers work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver round the clock specialist care.

Emmanuel House is located in a quiet residential area close to the village of Hessle and within walking distance of Hessle Foreshore with stunning views of the Humber Bridge and Country Park. The home is near the M62 motorway network and close to local shops, amenities and transport services.

The home is set in extensive private grounds and gardens with outdoor bird tables and bedroom window feeders. All residents have their own rooms with a nurse call system and individual phone and television points. We have shared rooms to support couples. Some of the ground floor bedrooms have courtyard access. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with cherished possessions.

Our home has a number of comfortable areas for residents to relax including a patio with outdoor seating where residents can enjoy the changing seasons. We have an open visiting policy and visitors' parking area on-site so family and friends can drop by whenever they wish. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement with the manager.

Activities at Emmanuel House are planned around our residents' interests and trying to offer them something new. Our varied social programme of group and one to one stimulating activities include music therapy, arts and crafts, professional entertainers, pub lunches and trips to galleries but participation is optional.

Our home chefs specialise in freshly prepared, flavoursome food with plenty of choice and special dietary needs or cultural requirements are catered for. We promote mealtimes as a social occasion with friends, family and staff but residents can choose where to have their meals.

Our weekly rates will depend on your loved one’s individual care requirements and room preference. Please ring to enquire about our current availability and whether we accept Local Authority funding.
