You’ll find Hillside Lodge set in beautiful gardens half a mile from the town centre, within easy reach of the A1. Local shops are five minutes away and the local bus stops right outside the home, linking to the train station.

Our team provides residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks like washing, dressing and eating, along with general nursing care for people with more complex medical conditions. We also offer respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. Our long-serving team members provide familiar faces, while our good relationship with local social services and healthcare providers helps us give the best possible resident support.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. Our activities coordinator has planned a busy programme including visiting entertainers and a monthly church service.

All the residents at Hillside Lodge have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
