Hope House

Hope House is a purpose-built countryside care facility based in Clayton Le Moors, it is situated opposite the picturesque Mercer Hall Park, offering delightful views. A homely environment with tastefully decorated ensuite rooms, a beautiful conservatory, a TV lounge and a quiet lounge for residents to reminisce and enjoy quiet times.

Various activities take place within the home including bingo, afternoon tea and food tasting. Friends and family are welcome at any time, hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share meals with residents. The resident cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce.

There is an outstanding activities programme designed by Hope House’s Activities Coordinator around the resident’s interests, including quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible trips out and about.

All the residents at Hope House have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
