Hyacinth House Care Home

Hyacinth House Care Home based in Wimborne has been recently redeveloped to improve the facilities and environment at the home, and is now open to admissions.

The care home offers 26 bedrooms to those requiring residential, nursing or respite care. The bedrooms are spread over 2 floors and residents are encouraged to personalise them with personal belongings and decorations. Not only this, the home offers a wide variety of facilities including a TV lounge, conservatory, large dining room, a well-maintained garden and patio areas.

We enjoy a selection of engaging activities at Hyacinth House Care Home including cooking, arts & crafts, animal visits and musical performers. Not only this, we go on regular outings to local amenities to help keep our residents connected with the community.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Hyacinth House. We place importance on protecting residents meal times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

The weekly cost of care at Hyacinth House starts will depend upon the care assessment. We are happy to accept residents who have been granted Continuing Healthcare Funding (CHC) and can support respite care.
