Kirkburn Court Care Home

Kirkburn Court is a purpose-built, single storey home providing care and support and 24-hour nursing care for frail older people and to people living with dementia, who are supported in a dedicated Memory Lane Community.

Many of our residents with dementia particularly enjoy our reminisce sessions and our staff love getting to hear about the varied lives of each of our residents. Family members are also very much encouraged to come and join in with our dementia-friendly activities.

The home is set in its own gardens in Peterhead. The aim of the home is to ‘provide the highest possible standard of care within the home. Residents’ individuality, dignity, privacy and independence are not compromised because they are elderly, confused or disabled. Our aim is to give our residents the best possible quality of life.’

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Kirkburn Court Care Home is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
