Situated in scenic surroundings on the well-known beauty spot of Parbold Hill, Lindsay House is a Lancashire-based Residential Care Home which has benefited from extensive refurbishment and investment.

Our skilled and dedicated team provide a comfortable and friendly environment for our residents. We respect their privacy and dignity but we also encourage them to get involved in activities of their choice, and to remain active in mind and body. Friends and relatives make regular visits, and this adds to the homely feel we like to encourage. We have excellent support from external medical professionals, and this is something that helps to give residents' families peace of mind.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Lindsay House Care Home. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Lindsay House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

Visitors to Lindsay House often say it feels more like a small country hotel than a Care Home. This is probably explained by our peaceful rural location, our caring and friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere. Please give us a ring or come in and see us for yourself.
