Mountview Care Home in Northwood supports people with an extensive range of heathcare needs, including mental health conditions. Mountview Care Home is located in a quiet residential area in Northwood, close to local amenities.

At Mountview Care Home we encourage our residents to gain and maintain as much independence as possible in a safe and supportive environment. Our dedicated care professionals receive specialist training - it is definitely not a ‘one-size’ fits all approach.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Mountview Care Home. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.

Before becoming a resident at Mountview Care Home our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Mountview Care Home including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Mountview Care Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for.
