Nairn House Care Home

At Nairn House, we provide residential and nursing care including palliative and short stays.

Short stays are offered to help both carers and their elderly loved ones at times when they need a break, a safe space to recover after an operation, to experience what home life is like before moving long-term or just to relax with a little extra support.

Nairn House is situated close to local amenities such as shops and bus routes. We’re half a mile off the A10 Great Cambridge Road and a few minute drive for Forty Hill Estate. The home has several lounges across it’s three floors for family and friends to come and enjoy when visiting their loved ones or celebrating a birthday or special occasion together.

At Nairn House, staff take care to focus on the person. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

Our in-home chefs create a well-crafted, freshly cooked menu we as know mealtimes are a chance for our residents to get together and chat. Soon after a resident arrives, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

There’s a real sense of community at the home and activities are at the heart of life here. The team discover what residents enjoy doing and the home’s social calendar is organised around those interests.
