Nower House in Dorking, Surrey provides person-centred respite, residential and specialist dementia care for elderly residents with a range of healthcare requirements. Our dedicated team of carers work tirelessly with medical professionals to deliver round-the-clock care.

Nower House is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Dorking and within easy reach of local shops, amenities and transport services serving the local area and London. The home overlooks Surrey's famous Box Hill with wonderful countryside views and pleasant walks

The home has several comfortable areas for residents to relax with family and friends including a choice of lounges and a charming conservatory which opens out onto the landscaped gardens so all residents can enjoy the changing seasons. We have an open visiting policy with no restrictions on visiting times.

All residents have their own ensuite bedrooms with individual phone and television points and a nurse call system. Requests for small pieces of furniture can be accommodated subject to passing health and safety requirements. We have shared rooms available to support couples and some of the ground-floor rooms have their own outside space to enjoy

Activities, events and trips at Nower House are planned around the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. Our varied social programme offers a choice of group and one-to-one stimulating activities but participation is optional.

Nower House offers a choice of tasty, nutritious, meals catering to all tastes and diets, special dietary needs or cultural requirements. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and the menus are updated regularly to accommodate requests from our residents.
