"Prospect Nursing Home is an impressive Georgian townhouse occupying a prestigious position on Malpas village High Street in the heart of rural Cheshire. The house retains a range of original features such as the panelled staircase, galleried landing and high ceilings. With panoramic views over the Cheshire Plains, the home also enjoys several courtyard gardens which provide tranquil outdoor space for residents to enjoy with both sunny and shaded grass and patio areas. Nursing care - Round the clock a team of fully qualified nursing staff with many years of experience provides care. Going far beyond the fundamental needs of each resident, we want to make sure every resident feels very well looked after. A local General Practitioner makes regular visits to the home, as do chiropodists and physiotherapists to ensure complete care.

Our Nursing team are experienced in caring for a wide range of general healthcare needs and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team who visit the home on a regular basis. We have input from Dieticians, Speech & Language therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists and weekly GP ward rounds. Our Nursing staff are particularly experienced in offering palliative end of life care. Residential care - For residents not requiring the same level of medical attention, we offer residential support from our team of Senior Carers and Care team with the support of the Multi-disciplinary team and our local District Nurses to maintain independence and to stay active, we aspire to help residents live life to the fullest. Dementia care - We help families feel positive about taking the steps needed when they can no longer look after their loved ones at home. The home has a luxury dedicated suite, providing 24 hour care for residents who are living with dementia. Our highly skilled dementia team members, led by our Clinical Lead, understand the challenges of living with dementia and will gently accompany your loved one on their journey whilst being encouraging, supporting and reassuring at all times.

Having undergone an extensive refurbishment in 2019, the home offers old world charm alongside magnificent modern conveniences ranging from our luxurious prestige rooms, our classical formal dining room, our state of the art catering kitchen, our new spa bath, extensive internet facilities and a dedicated hair salon managed by our fully qualified visiting hairdresser.
We have a variety of tastefully decorated room types available to suit your specific requirements and with numerous reception, lounge, dining areas and outdoor spaces there is a part of the home to suit any mood.
Starting with an assessment of individual needs, our dedicated and professional care team design a bespoke plan addressing medical, personal and social requirements of each resident. Our team provide round the clock care which you and your family can be sure is of the highest quality.
If excellent food is important to your loved one, they are going to be very happy at Prospect House. The quality of our food is one of the hallmarks of the home. All meals are prepared by Chef Paul who has Michelin star restaurant experience. His innovative approach to food preparation ensures that all food is prepared and cooked on-site using fresh locally-sourced seasonal produce that is nutritious and flavourful.
