Queens Manor Care Home

Queens Manor Care Home has been specifically designed to provide high-quality residential care to older people, including individuals living with dementia. The home is located on Queensferry Road, near Edinburgh Airport, and is about a 20-minute drive to the city centre.

The home has a dedicated area, which we call our Memory Lane Community, offering high-quality care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items, such as photographs, are used to help each person reminisce. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family, friends and residents.

Our care is as unique as the residents who live here. Our person-centred approach allows us to really get to know the people we care for and understand what’s right for them. We encourage loved ones to get involved and give feedback so that we can provide the best services possible. There’s also a whole host of features and facilities available to those living with us that really help to make this place feel like a home away from home.
