Queensmount Care Home

Offering a high quality range of long and short stay residential and nursing care, Queensmount Nursing and Residential Home also provides convalescent and specialist care for those who have had a stroke or who have physical disabilities. The home also caters for people requiring palliative care.

Queensmount has outstanding facilities that enable residents to socialise, entertain visitors or enjoy some peace and quiet. Its attractively decorated premises include three bright and airy lounges, a bar that serves alcohol with meals, if desired, and a silver-service restaurant. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and 24-hour call systems.

Only fresh produce is used in the preparation of nutritious and delicious meals, and all tastes and diets are catered for. Snacks are available morning and afternoon.

A dedicated activity co-ordinator assists with access to hobbies, such as films, bowls, cake-making or charades that are tailored to residents’ interests. Local singers and musicians make regular visits and each month there is a themed event.
