Sandpiper Care Home

Located in Alford, Sandpiper Care Home provides residential and dementia care for up to 30 residents in tranquil surroundings.

All of our residents at Sandpiper Care Home have their own bedroom which they are supported to make their own. Bedrooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and beautiful furnishings. Should a new resident desire to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Sandpiper Care Home offers a beauty salon for pampering, a tavern and several cosy lounges for those who enjoy socialising and participating in our entertaining activities program. During the summer months at Sandpiper, the Home’s delightfully manicured grounds provide the ideal setting to enjoy time with friends and loved ones.

For our residents who are living with dementia, it is incredibly helpful if family members are able to help care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and help them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.
