Southwell Court

Southwell Court Care Home in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, supports up to 40 residents over the age of 65 years with residential care. In 2019, the care home underwent a big refurbishment and now offers modern and spacious surroundings.

Throughout, Southwell Court has been decorated beautifully with state of the art furnishings. All bedrooms have their own en-suite wetroom and residents are encouraged to customise their bedrooms to their heart's content. Ground floor bedrooms have access straight to the surrounding gardens.

We are fortunate to have a cinema room, salon, library, games room, and communal lounges for our residents to use as and when they wish. Alongside the wonderful interior spaces, we have large mature gardens and a courtyard.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Southwell Court. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

All the residents at Southwell Court have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
