St John's Care Home

St John's is one of our specialist dementia care homes in Lincolnshire. Situated in the market town of Spalding, St John's is set in a large mature garden. Here, residents can walk among the old trees or gather in the summerhouse without feeling confined to one space. Our activity coordinator provides a positive active environment where residents and family can take part and enjoy events and hobbies.

Recently having undergone a thorough refurbishment, St John's is spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely homely. The primary aim of the refurbishment is to continue to uphold the provision of specialist dementia care. St John's lies at the heart of the local community in Spalding, with a 24 hour open door policy in place, family and friends are always welcome.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at St John's including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Before becoming a resident at St John's our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
