Sydenham House

Sydenham House in Bridgwater supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Round the clock care is provided by our team of dedicated Care Assistants, overseen by our experienced Management Team.

Sydenham House is furnished to a high standard throughout, and all of the bedrooms are fitted with a nurse call system. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Many rooms have the benefit of en-suite facilities. Accommodation consists of single rooms, although there is one room suitable for a couple. Lift access is available to all parts of the home. Residents and their guests are welcome to use the snug and well-appointed dining area, the communal seating areas, and lounges.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Sydenham House is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Sydenham House including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.
