The Cedars Care Home

The Cedars is a 27-bed purpose-built care home, located a 5-minute walk away from the centre of Holmes Chapel Village. We are very much a part of the local community, with many of our residents being from the immediate vicinity. Friends & family often pass through the home to visit their loved ones at The Cedars which has helped to create a real family feel.

At The Cedars, there are a number of comfy lounge areas including areas for our residents to spend private time with their family & friends. We also have a kitchen available to residents where they can make refreshments and light snacks. There is a communal dining area but if residents would prefer to eat in their bedrooms, their wishes are honoured.

Outside the home, we have well-maintained, colourful gardens for residents to enjoy. There is a patio with seating right next to the conservatory with flower pots and an ornate birdbath, making it the perfect spot to bird watch!

We have an activities coordinator at The Cedars who organises our programme of activities & events to reflect the interests of our residents. Our residents regularly enjoy dominoes tournaments, quizzes, bingo, coffee mornings, karaoke, local walks, garden centre visits and gardening. We also have a quiet lounge where Holy Communion is provided by the vicar from St Luke's Church on a monthly basis. Our team is also happy to accompany residents to local church services if they wish.
