The Dales Care Home

We provide first-class 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. Many of our residents with dementia particularly enjoy our reminisce sessions and our staff love getting to hear about the varied lives of each of our residents. Family members are also very much encouraged to come and join in with our dementia-friendly activities.

For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.

Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

And our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and organised activities for our residents. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
