The Lodge at Oakhill

The Lodge at Oakhill provides a unique service in a luxurious setting. The hotel-like experience combines healthcare, therapy and hospitality, and allows us to focus equally on guests’ care and leisure. The home is close to Bristol, in a secluded part of Westbury-on-Trym village. Local amenities include shops, great travel links and local GP services and Hospitals.

The Lodge at Oakhill; consists of 14 bedrooms and is suitable for guests requiring post-operative rehabilitation, residential and respite care.

We promote a monthly theme throughout our homes to ensure that our activities remain varied and interesting. Themes vary from ‘Harvest and Nature’ to ‘Love and Family’. Food, craft and reminiscence activities are then built around this theme, still leaving time for classic activities such as Bingo and exercise sessions. Everyone, including staff and visitors, is invited to get involved by sharing related items and stories together.

We do everything we can to ease that worry for our Residents and their families. From the moment a new guest steps through the door, we treat them with the love, respect and tenderness that we’d want for our own family. Most importantly, we believe that our Residents should have real choices about what they do and how they’re treated. So we listen to what people say, and we constantly adapt and improve what we do.
