The Place Up Hanley Care Home

The Place Up Hanley Residential Care Home is situated in Staffordshire and offers an excellent range of facilities. Opened by Phil "The Power" Taylor, the home is located in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, and has 47 luxury bedrooms with TV/DVDs in each room.

The living rooms and other communal rooms have been fully-refurbished to the highest of standards. The home caters for people who suffer with residential dementia along with people who also require residential care. Short-term respite stays, as well as long-term placements, are available.

The Place Up Hanley incorporates an old style pub, an old style sweet shop, a coffee shop, a sensory garden and a salon. A fully trained hairdresser and barber regularly visit the home. There is an on-site kitchen and laundry facilities are provided free of charge.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at The Place Up Hanley Care Home including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.
