The Priory Care Home

The Priory Nursing and Residential Home understands the importance of creating a relaxing environment for its residents. The home welcomes those who require nursing, palliative, convalescence and respite care and creates a unique care plan for each resident upon arrival.

Specifically designed to meet the needs of older people, the home is encircled by charming gardens that are visible from the dining room. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and flat screen televisions and there is a large drawing room for residents to relax in and entertain guests.

Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared using fresh ingredients and a wide range of dishes are available to choose from. Resident’s birthdays are celebrated as are all traditional holidays ranging from Pancake Day to Christmas.

As well as a permanent hairdressing salon, the home is regularly visited by a local mobile library. A dedicated activities room allows residents to pursue their own hobbies and share interests.
