Timperley Care Home

Timperley is a dementia and nursing care home, purpose built in 2009 in the Cheshire village of Timperley. It has won many awards including the Trafford Dementia Kite Mark Award, Dignity in Care Award and the North-west End of Life Care Award. It was designed to re-create home environments while also keeping residents safe.

The development challenges the usual perceptions of care homes by offering a residence providing high quality care to seniors, whether they need nursing, residential or dementia care; a safe place anybody would be proud to call home.

The building itself has been designed with the idea of care in mind from the foundations up, so it features wide corridors and large open spaces in which senior residents can comfortably relax and socialize.

There are landscaped garden areas, pleasant patios and a large amount of comfortable, relatively private and communal areas. We even have a newly refurbished old English tea room. And because we encourage an open door policy for all family and friends at all times, there is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere where you are promised the warmest of welcomes.

The home has kitchenettes in which Timperley residents can make their own drinks if they wish, and we have our own hairdressing salon and therapy suite.

Every private room has en suite shower and toilet facilities, but there are also six wheelchair accessible bathrooms with assisted technology. All floors are accessible by two lifts, and all the following are available: Specialised mattresses, Call bells,Pressure mats and Door alarms. We also provide full laundry and domestic services.

Although the home is purpose built, we like to create a home from home atmosphere, so residents are positively encouraged to decorate their room as they wish.
