The home has many bright and comfortable areas for residents to relax with friends and family, including three acres of gardens with a fishpond where residents can get involved with the garden or simply enjoy the changing seasons.

All residents have private personalisable rooms with their own phone points. Several ground rooms have direct garden access and some first floor rooms have their own balconies with space for table, chairs and planters. Small pieces of furniture, subject to passing health and safety regulations can be accommodated.

We are a pet-friendly home and animal visitors are very popular with staff and residents alike. In fact, we welcome frequent visitors and have no restrictions on visiting times

We have a varied social programme of activities tailored to residents’ interests like gardening or woodwork as well as trying to offer them something new. We offer a wide range of group and one to one activities including garden BBQs, pet therapy sessions, day trips and local outings within the community.

Our Home Chefs specialise in freshly cooked, tasty food with plenty of choices. The menus are updated regularly to incorporate suggestions from the residents’ forum.
