Welcome to the relaxed and happy lifestyle of Westwood House We provide first-class 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for those, from the age of 40, who are chronically sick. We also offer respite and convalescent care.

Westwood House has been awarded 'Beacon Status' by the Gold Standard Framework in Care Homes programme - quality care inspiring other homes. Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. Our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and mini bus trips. We also offer complementary therapies to interested residents.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Westwood House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Westwood House. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.

Westwood House is a purpose built care home located in the residential area of Upper Sydenham on Westwood Hill.
