Whittington House Nursing Home

Whittington House is a modern, purpose-built care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 66 residents, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. The home is light and spacious with a welcoming atmosphere. The wellbeing of our residents is at the heart of everything we do at Caring Homes, and our highly skilled, dedicated and passionate care teams work hard to exceed expectations.

The home has been designed to be fully accessible and are decorated and furnished to a high standard. All bedrooms are en suite and interconnecting rooms are available on request. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to help make their rooms their own and to create a homely environment.

We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Whittington House. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.

All the residents at Whittington House have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
