Wisteria House Care Home

Wisteria House in Ipswich is a friendly, intimate home for seven adults with learning disabilities. We welcome people from all walks of life with many different needs, who enjoy the opportunity to share and celebrate the richness and diversity of their experience. We make good use of the large secure garden facilities surrounding our home, not only to enhance the look of the home, but to also offer people we support the chance to participate in activities such as gardening and growing fruit and vegetables.

At Wisteria House we aim to create a home that we and the people we support can be proud of. A house should be a home and a place to give people a sense of belonging and fulfilment. By providing a genuine, warm, welcoming home environment we strive to enable everyone in our care to live as fulfilling a life as possible.

Wisteria House is carefully developed to allow the people we support to contribute to its operation. After all it is their home. Our home is spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, and is carefully adapted to meet the needs of the people who live here. Above all it retains the intimate feel of your own home.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Wisteria House Care Home is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. We do our best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
