Woodlands care home in Poynton supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Round the clock care is provided by our team of dedicated Care Assistants and on-site nurses, overseen by our experienced Management Team.

Woodlands care home provides general nursing care, residential dementia care and nursing dementia care in a purpose-built, 80 bedroom home. Whether residents are staying for a short-term respite placement or a permanent one, residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day. It’s a wonderfully calm and welcoming space, with bright airy rooms, where our passionate team deliver personalised care in a warm, supportive and safe environment.

Here at Woodlands, we offer a wide and varied schedule of optional events and activities helping residents to explore their interests and discover new ones. Pet therapy visits, armchair exercises, gardening, baking, flower arranging, arts and crafts, bingo, skittles and church services are activities that are all just a part of the day to day life at Woodlands.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Woodlands is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
