Aaron House

Aaron House care home, in Penicuik, Edinburgh, is a grand, converted mansion house, located in beautiful, spacious grounds, in a quiet rural area of Edinburgh. The home is supported by a friendly and committed team, fully trained in providing care for older people who require residential, nursing, or who are living with dementia.

With elegant period features, separate dining and living rooms, and the opportunity to dress your bedroom yourself, participate in daily social activities and events, Aaron House is a wonderful place to call home.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Aaron House. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

All the residents at Aaron House have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

At Aaron House, the cost per week will depend upon a Care Needs Assessment carried out by our Home Manager. We are also are able to accept residents who are receiving Continuing Healthcare funding.
