Archview Lodge is conveniently located in the centre of the historic town of Dalkeith, with easy access to local facilities and public transport. The home is surrounded by woodland with beautifully landscaped gardens, secure and easily accessible for wheelchair users. It is a bright, welcoming purpose-built home providing nursing care for frail older people and for people living with dementia.
Here's how we set out our principles: ‘The aim of the home is to provide the highest possible standard of care. The residents' individuality, dignity, privacy and independence are not compromised because they are elderly, confused or disabled. Our aim is to give residents the best possible quality of life.’
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Archview Lodge Care Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
