Avonbridge

Avonbridge is situated on the banks of the River Avon, next to the historic bridge from which the home takes its name. Being only a short distance from the centre of Hamilton the home is in the midst of a lively community. Representatives from local churches and schools are regular visitors at the home.

Avonbridge is arranged over two floors, with the communal living areas on the lower floor and bedrooms predominantly on the upper floor.

Friends and family are welcome at any time, hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share meals with residents. The resident cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce.

There is an outstanding activities programme designed by Avonbridge’s Activities Coordinator around the resident’s interests, including: quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible trips out and about.

At Avonbridge, the cost per week will depend upon a Care Needs Assessment carried out by our Home Manager. We are also are able to accept residents who are receiving Continuing Healthcare funding.
