You’ll find Charlton Park surrounded by gardens in Charlton Village just a short walk from shops and the local bus service. Our team provides general nursing care for people with complex medical needs along with specialist nursing for those living with dementia. We also offer respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break and intermediate care as an alternative to a hospital stay. The whole team is very proud of the home’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Listening to our residents is one of the most important things we do, so that we can truly get to know them and make sure they get the most out of every day. We have a busy activities programme including animal therapy, hand massage, days out and visits from local entertainers, volunteers and children’s choirs. We also have good community links, attending religious events at the nearby church.

Before becoming a resident at Charlton Park our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.

Whether you require respite care or end of life care, we would be delighted to support you at Charlton Park Care Home. Our weekly fees are dependent upon a care assessment which will evaluate the unique care requirements of a person. Due to being a nursing home, we are able to accept residents who have been granted Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Funding.
