Daleside Nursing Home in Birkenhead supports up to 43 service-users with nursing care. We are conveniently located with local shops only a stone's throw away.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Daleside Nursing Home including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms as much as they wish. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully at home and comfortable in.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Daleside Nursing Home. We place importance on protecting residents meal times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying healthy. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.

Before becoming a resident at Daleside Nursing Home our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.

If you have assets below £23,250, you may be eligible for funding support from your local authority to help fund your care. At Daleside Nursing Home, our weekly rates are subject to a Care Assessment which will be carried out by our Home Manager to assess your or your loved ones care requirements.
