Dean Wood Manor provides accommodation for up to 50 residents who are living with dementia in a warm and relaxing environment.
The majority of our bedrooms are single occupancy, but we do have a couple of rooms which would be ideal for couples who wish to stay together. We encourage our residents to make the most of the shared areas at Dean Wood Manor including lounges, dining rooms and the pub.
Many of our residents with dementia particularly enjoy our reminisce sessions and our staff love getting to hear about the varied lives of each of our residents. Family members are also very much encouraged to come and join in with our dementia-friendly activities.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of daily life at Dean Wood Manor. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal.
