Five Gables Nursing Home

Five Gable Nursing Home in Kettering, Northamptonshire provides respite, residential, palliative, convalescence and specialist dementia care for elderly residents with a wide range of healthcare needs. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals who liaise closely with healthcare professionals to cover all aspects of care 24-hours a day.

All the residents have their own unique, personalised care plan taking into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. Activities inside the home and local outings within the community are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new.

We offer a varied social programme of group and one to one activities but participation is optional. We also welcome family and visitor participation and have no restrictions on visiting times. We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas with friends and family to help them feel connected even if it’s just enjoying the local wildlife in the sunny garden.

All the bedrooms are private en suite rooms which residents are encouraged to personalize and make their own. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then subject to passing health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome at Five Gables providing they meet certain requirements and by agreement with the manager.

The weekly cost of care at Five Gables will depend upon the care assessment. We are happy to accept residents who have been granted Continuing Healthcare Funding (CHC) and can support respite care and end of life care.
