A Real Home from Home Forest Hill is one of Barchester’s exceptional care homes in the East Midlands. Opened in 1996, the home was specifically designed to deliver first-class quality nursing care for older people, including those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Our 32 bedded Memory Lane Community is a prime example of dementia care at its very best. Our brand new, purpose-built Portland Suite unit, first opened its doors in May 2012. Our capable and experienced team work towards supporting choice, change and well-being for younger adults living with mental health needs and associated challenges.
Offering 21 en-suite rooms, furnished to an exceptional standard, our aim is to offer a therapeutic environment intended to support each resident on their own individual pathway to well-being.
We encourage our residents to partake in the daily activities programme at Forest Hill. Activities are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. If you’ve been a keen cook or gardener all your life we see no reason for this to change and our care staff will be on hand to support you.
Forest Hill is a nursing home that can support a wide range of care types including respite care and palliative care. To find out an indication of costs and our latest availability, please get in touch with our friendly team via the phone number on our profile. Please note that we are able to accept residents who have been granted Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding due to our nursing home registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The weekly cost of care at Forest Hill greatly depends upon an individual's care requirements which are determined by a Care Needs Assessment. Contact the Home Manager on 01909 494228 to discuss further and arrange an assessment. Learn more about nursing home costs.
