Heatherdene Nursing Home

Heatherdene Nursing Home is a large Edwardian house located in a quiet residential area of Bexhill-on-Sea on the South Coast. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day.

Heatherdene has 25 single bedrooms and 1 double on each floor with a passenger lift. 23 rooms are ensuite (4 rooms with no ensuite). Heatherdene has one dining area, two lounges and an accessible garden. The garden is well maintained with a lawn and flowers and a patio area.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Heatherdene Nursing Home including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Here at Heatherdene Nursing Home, we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.

At Heatherdene Nursing Home, the cost per week will depend upon a Care Needs Assessment carried out by our Home Manager. We are also are able to accept residents who are receiving Continuing Healthcare funding. Included in care types we can support are nursing care & respite care.
